Well Worth the Investment:
Seminar fees are $250 for the first person, $100 for each additional person from the same company. Certainly an investment with a good "return". Every participant will receive valuable installation and marketing tools valued at over $200.

Course Description:
The Certification Seminar is a full day workshop. The course covers all aspects of planning, installing and testing a category compliant system. It also covers industry standards and provides suggestions on marketing your business to audiences such as builders and home owners.

Certified Installer Obligations:
There are certain requirements that installers must meet to qualify a job site for certification.  Some examples include:  Installing category compliant cabling, adhering to TIA/EIA standards, registering the job site, and maintaining test results.

This kit provides the recommended basic hand tools required for installation of the Leviton Integrated Networks™ residential structured wiring system. It has the tools necessary to terminate RJ45 plugs and UTP on 110 type terminals and F connectors on coax cable.

Professional Tools Help Get the Job Done Right.
   
  • Use punchdown tool to terminate twisted pair cable at the wall jack and cross connect block.
  • Use EZ-RJ45™ Crimp Tool to terminate connectors to Category 5 twisted pair cable.
  • Screwdriver with reversible bit (slotted and Philips).
  • Use cable cutter for trimming coaxial cable and twisted pair cable. Curved blades will not deform cable conductors.
  •  Use Cat 5 cable jacket stripper to remove cable jacket without nicking center conductors.
  • Use coax stripping tool to prepare coaxial cable (RG 59 and RG 6) for connector termination.
