Russound Weather Resistant Outdoor Speakers Overview The new OutBack Series builds upon our already successful designs. Russound engineers have developed three new models that offer enhanced styling, improved sonic performance and increased protection from nature's harshest elements. These new Russound OutBacks are loaded with features you would expect from outdoor speakers at twice the price. Low resonance mineral filled composite cabinets that are stain and water resistant, stable from ultraviolet rays and can withstand temperatures from -50°F to 200°F. The drivers are a combination of Titanium tweeters and injection molded Polypropylene cone woofers that can also withstand the extremes of temperature, sun, wind and salt. For added reliability, the high performance tweeters have auto-reset protection circuitry built-in. The OutBack's hardware is all marine grade and highly rust resistant, including the gold-plated 5-way speaker binding posts. Even the versatile swivel mounting brackets that provide for flexible placement and easy installation are included standard.
