The BL-C10 is a network, IP based camera and requires a direct connection to an ethernet network (or a connection to the network over electrical wiring, using a pair of 85PLC modules). With this camera, you can remotely pan and tilt the lense to look in any different direction at your command, without having to manually reposition the camera.
For use with any Motorola Homesight Kit.

If it detects someone, the homesight system can notify you, snap pictures or

-Features a built-in Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor that detects human
movement by monitoring temperature changes.
-When the camera detects human movement, images from before, during, and
after the detection can be sent by e-mail.
-While away from home, you can be notified if movement is detected by
cellphone (text message capable!).
-Check up on things while away from home with your PC
- Color Night View mode - View
images even in low light.
-The camera switches to Color Night View mode automatically when the
subject becomes dark, helpful for viewing objects in a dark room.
- Privacy mode - Privacy mode
ensures your privacy.
-With one press of a button, privacy mode is turned on and the camera hides
the lens by rolling it back into the unit.
-By turning privacy mode on when you return home, you can make sure images
from the camera cannot be seen.
-Using a computer or mobile phone, the camera administrator can even turn
privacy mode on or off while away from home in case you forget push the
button.

Build quality for this palm-sized package is great; with a Fast Ethernet port and power socket hidden underneath a detachable panel at the rear. There are also tripod screw fixings on the back and base for mounting on a wall or horizontal surface.
