Smart Box can be use in new installations where you can not swing a hammer.
Smart Box can be used in old installations. Cut the hole along side stud, slide Smart Box in the hole and screw in place.
Smart Box can be used in kitchens and bathes where final wall surface is uncertain. Set box ½ in. forward of stud during new construction. If tile, granite etc… is added to the surface during finish work simply back out mounting screws, move box forward so that the outer edge of the box meets the final wall surface, then reinstall the mounting screws.
