The AGC Appliance Module incorporates an advanced X10 powerline circuit design which allows the module to operate in adverse environments.The principal advantages are greater sensitvity and better noise rejection. These modules are recommended for all installations where reliability of operation is paramount.

The AGC Appliance Module is designed to control loads with the following ratings:
  • Resistive load: 15A
  • Motor load: 1/3 HP
  • Incandescent load: 500W
  • TV/Stereo: 400W
The module is available in two plug formats: two-pin (PAM01) and three-pin grounded (PAM02).
 
Setting up the Appliance Module
  • Set the Unit Code dial to an unused code which can be controlled from the Security Remote (switches 1-4 control Unit Codes 1-4) or any other desired X10 controller.
  • Plug an appliance into the Appliance Module and plug the Appliance Module into a convenient AC outlet.
Local control
The Appliance Module Includes circuitry to sense the appliances own on/offswitch to turn the appliance on locally. To switch the appliance on, turn the appliance's switch off then on again.
