You can use any phone inside your home to connect to your computer and give it voice commands to trigger events. Events may be triggered by DTMF (touch tones) on any telephone keypad. Note that voice commands and touch tone commands may be used to control your computer from any remote telephone without the use of the phone switch.
NOTE: This software requires either the Way2Call Hi-Phone telephone interface or the HomeSeer PCI Voice Modem and is available in bundles with these devices. No other modem or audio device is supported.
The software uses a simple high level scripting language to control the call flow. This makes it easy to create your own IVR (interactive response system) system.
System Requirements:
- Windows 98, ME, 2000/Windows XP and Vista.
- HomeSeer version 1.6.0 or later must be installed.
- Supported Hardware:
- HomeSeer PCI Voice Modem
- Way2Call Hi-Phone Desktop (USB Version Only, Serial version is NOT supported)
