The
Model 154RC (see options: with Remote Control) adds a wireless remote control to virtually any patio umbrella. It is approved
for round, square and rectangular patio and market umbrellas up to 10-feet in
diameter, with wood and metal poles, crank handles, pull ropes, and manual lift
mechanisms.
Installation is simple. A Powerful low voltage motor mounts near the top of the pole, under the umbrella fabric, and connects to the umbrella lift-ring. Mounted at tabletop level is a control module with a manual switch to open and close the umbrella. Model 154RC has a radio (RF) receiver for use with the included remote control. The “no aim” remote has a 40’ range and can penetrate walls and glass. On windy or rainy days, the umbrella can be controlled from inside your home without venturing out into the elements.
UL Listed AC-DC Adapter supplies 12-volts DC electric power. Adapter has 25’ cord that reaches most wall outlet without an extension cord. Adapter cord passes through the hole in your patio table from the underside and fit alongside the patio umbrella pole, with no unsightly cord across the top of your table. Components are weather resistant. For permanent year-round use, plug Adapter into a GFCI protected outlet with weatherproof cover (available separately).
