The Channel Vision Web server series is an Internet based digital video system that offers the capability to distribute compressed live signals onto an intranet or Internet connection through Ethernet connectivity. The web camera servers have support for 1, 2, or 4 channels of video. Access to the server through a LAN (local area network) or a WAN (wide area network) is established quickly by simply using standard web browsers like Internet Explorer® and Netscape Navigator®. From the browser all management, configuration, picture control and monitoring of the server is handled.
The W series servers contain image compression chipsets that are capable of delivering standard JPEG and MJEPG, real
time streaming video onto limited network bandwidth.
