How it Works
The Universal Garage Door Remote Control Replacement is a separate radio transmitter and receiver system. The system uses a 10 amp relay to trigger the opening and closing of the garage door - just as if a person was pushing the button manually. Pushing the transmitter button opens the garage door and pushing the button again closes the door.
Note: Almost all Stanley systems (as well as some Overhead Door, and Genie systems) will not be able to supply
enough power to control this unit. You must purchase an additional 12 volt, 500 mA, AC wall adaptor 30029 which plugs into the side of this unit and move the slide switch to the AC Adapter, as shown on page 2 of the manual.
