How It Works:
The key to the operation of the Smart timer is the photocell that automatically turns on your lights when it gets dark rather than an a set time. You will never have to adjust the time on the timer as the seasons change.

The random mode solves the problem of every other timer - that the lights turn on and off at the same preset time. Now - you can set your lights to go on and off in a varying pattern - making your home seem occupied.
Simply set the number of hours that you would like the light to stay on after dark and let the Smart Timer make your home look lived in.

- Random feature turns lights on and off in an ever changing pattern for up to 12 hours to make your home look occupied when you are not there. So - if someone is watching your home - it will look truly lived in.
- Photocell detects changing light conditions and turns on lights automatically when it gets dark. On cloudy days - the lights come on earlier than on bright sunny days - just like they would if you were at home.
- Automatically adjusts for days getting shorter and longer. Sensitivity can be adjusted to account for cloudy days or different "mounting" locations such as when unit is plugged in behind furniture.
- Turn on times can be set from 2 to 12 hours.
- The device is perfect for increased safety - security and convenience. It also has a manual override switch and has a 120 watt capacity.
