iButton™ 'Touchkey' Reader & Interface Pack contains two accessory components that allow the ELK Magic Module(ELK-MM443) to read iButton™ 'Touchkeys' from Dallas Semiconductor. This enables the Magic Module™(ELK-MM443) to be used as an economical access controller, time-attendance functions, etc.

The small "dime sized" iButton is a rugged memory device containing a uniquely readable "non-repeating" serial number. The iButton™ 'Touchkey' Reader Interface connects to the Magic Module™ through an 8 conductor modular cable (included). Applications include: high security access control, simple on/off switching, password authentication, etc.
