Relay Output devices have eight switch inputs plus four sets of DPDT relay outputs. Note that non-latching relays are less expensive, but consume a significant amount of power when activated, so if many non-latching relay devices are used in a system additional power must be supplied, as can be done via an FGI hub device. The FSD X10 / UPB / FGI Bridge can power one quad nonlatching relay device plus other sensors.
Non-latching relays consume coil power only when changing state, so many non-latching quad-relay devices
can be used in a system with less concern over power considerations.
