You can also turn appliances on or off as a group by using the Keychain Remote Control or the Handheld Remote Control. An appliance module can be plugged into any 110-volt electrical outlet that is not controlled by a switch. Appliance modules use the household power wiring to receive signals from the Honeywell Wireless Home Security System control panel.

Features:
  • X10 Compatible
  • Automatically turns appliances and lights on and off for convenience.
  • Appliance modules can be used to control fluorescent lights, transformer-operated low voltage plug-in lights, lights with built-in dimming controls, and small appliances such as radios, small window air conditioners, televisions, stereos, fans, and air cleaners.
  • Installation of appliance modules requires no special wiring. Easy plug-in installation.
  • Appliance modules utilize existing household wiring to receive control signals from the Home Security System control panel. You Need to Know:
  • Each appliance module must be added to the Home Security System control panel equipment list before it can operate as part of the system.
  • The switch of any device that is plugged into an appliance module must be left in the on position to be controlled by the system.
  • An appliance module will not operate if it is unplugged, if it is plugged into a switched outlet that is turned off, or if the household power fails.
  • Appliance modules must be plugged into outlets that are on the same phase (branch) of the electrical system as that of the Home Security System control panel.
  • Appliance modules will not respond to "All lights on" commands, and will not turn on during an alarm.
  • Appliance modules are designed to control only small appliances and incandescent or fluorescent lights (see the maximum capacities in the specifications listed on this page).
