The Irrigander 4/2 Pro expander is comprised of two types of modules: an Encoder that is installed close to or inside the sprinkler controller; Decoders that are installed close to the valves to be controlled. One dedicated field wire is attached to the Irrigander 4/2 Pro expander's output. The 4 inputs to the Encoder are connected to any available 4 irrigation controller outputs. The dedicated field wire and the system wide common wire are connected to the two Decoders and the outputs from each decoder are connected to the valves to be controlled. Add optional Irrigander Surge Suppressors to minimize potential damage from lightning. Detailed specifications are in the User Guide, available under the manuals tab.
Application information on the Irrigander 4/2 expander is available under more information.
