LIN RCA 110-Type QuickPort PCM Audio Orange Insert

Leviton’s RCA-110 QuickPort® Connector transmits audio/video signals over standard Category 5, 5e or 6 UTP cabling, and features 110-style IDC punchdowns on the rear for simple, fast installation. This simple connector is ideal in environments (like classrooms) that have frequent adds, moves and changes, or where coaxial cable runs aren’t an option. The front of the connector features a gold-plated contact surface for a better connection, and its oversized cavity readily accommodates male RCA plugs. Part of the QuickPort family of connectors, Leviton’s RCA-110 Connectors are compatible with any QuickPort housing or panel.

To indicate different media types, connector inserts are offered in four colors, including Right Line Level Audio (red), Left Line Level Audio (white), Composite Video (yellow) and PCM Audio (orange). The connector housing is available in ivory, white, almond, grey and black, to match housing or wallplates. Connectors fit all QuickPort wallplate housings, patch panels and patch blocks.
Oversize connector diameter and depth readily accommodate larger "high-end" audio/video plugs (male).
Gold-plated/wash connector for increased durability.
Secure connectors to cable prior to snapping into faceplate or surface mount housing.
Keep digital signal bundles separate from analog signal bundles.
Connector supports connectivity for up to two pairs. Use both pairs to reduce wire losses in longer cable runs.
The body is available in five colors; the insert is available in four colors for application identification.

Design Considerations:

RCA QuickPort Connectors snap into any housing with the QuickPort name, including: flush and surface mount outlets, Multimedia Outlet System, patch panel, and patch blocks.
Use separate cables for analog and digital signals.
Use with Category 5 or better cabling. Check clearance behind proposed location of module, to ensure space for proper bend-radius of cabling media.
RCA connector inserts are available in orange (PCM Audio), red (Right Audio), white (Left Audio) and yellow (Video). The connector housing is available in ivory, white, almond, grey and black, to match housing or wallplates.
