- NORMAL/UPLINK switch allows up to four hubs to be cascaded, for a total of up to 14 network connections for the 10
- Base-T and 17 for the 10/100.
- Polarity auto-detection and auto correction for ports ensure smoother flow and greater integrity of data.
- Auto partition and reconnect ports to facilitate faulty segment isolation.
- 10/100 hub has auto switching functionality - all ports operate as either 10 or 100 Mbps.
- LED's indicate Link/ Receive and partition status plus power and collision.
Structured Media Networking Hubs
Share data and peripheral devices, such as printers, among many computers in remote locations with Leviton's professional-grade Network Hubs. Just run cable from desired locations to a Category 5e Voice and Data Module (either a stand-alone module page 8, or one of the units in the Pre-Configured Structured Cabling Panels page 7). From there, Category 5/5e patch cords can be used to connect the Data Hub to the Category 5e Module. Instantly, remote locations will be able to communicate.* That means a computer in the kitchen can print to the home office printer, and a computer in the home office can retrieve information from the one in the bedroom, all without moving an inch.
At 10Mbps speed, the 10 Base-T hub is an excellent choice for a wide range of residential needs such as sharing printers and other peripherals as well as networking home PC's. The switchable 10/100 Base-T hub with 100Mbps performance is suitable for more demanding home office and telecommuting applications, and for sharing high-speed and capacity devices such as storage devices and back-up systems. Both hubs are IEEE 802.3 compliant and provide a broad range of features to ensure data integrity, as well as LED lights to indicatePower, Link/Receive, Partition and Collision status. Hubs can be cascaded to provide a max-imum of 14 network stations to be connected for the 10 Base-T and 17 for the 10/100.
*Networked PC's and peripherals require compatible networking cards or adapters and associated software.
