The Indoor Station is just one of a series of contractor-friendly operational components that combine to provide a flexible feature set that can be quickly adapted to a home owner's specific needs.
APPLICATION
The Indoor Station provides the user Indoor interface for Leviton's Residential Intercom System. It is designed for interior mounting. Once the call button is activated, all phones in the house will ring with a distinctive ring that indicates an incoming intercom communication. A full duplex speaker is incorporated that allows conversation with whoever responds by picking up a phone. It is used in conjunction with the 47000-MKB located in the Structured Media™ Center (SMC) to which it is connected over Cat 5e UTP cabling.

- Designed to easily fit within a standard dual gang box or low voltage ring
- Interfaces with system via 47000-MKB
- It can serve as one of a maximum of 12 intercom stations that can be attached to the system in 4 zones
- Activation of the call button on an Indoor station causes a distinctive ring to sound at all connected phones in the house; pick up phone to answer
- The Indoor Station's speaker/microphone can be used upon activation to receive an answering machine auto-answer message and to leave a message such as when homeowner is away
- An installed door chime can be made to sound when Indoor Station is activated if used in conjunction with the Door Chime Board
- Indoor Station speakers can be used to monitor individual zones remotely from any phone in the house for added security
- Indoor Station speakers can also be used to broadcast a message from any phone
- Indoor Stations can operate at up to a maximum of 4000' from the Structured Media Center (SMC)
