Why do some Wall Switches or Modules work in some outlets / rooms and not in others?
Reliable X10 signaling on the power line requires that all devices be installed on the same electrical phase. When this is not practical a Signal Bridge Phase Coupler must be installed at the circuit breaker panel. Best performance is achieved, when a combination Phase Coupler and Signal Repeater is used such as the HCA02-10E.
