Fits in standard wallboxes and replaces regular switches to provide local and remote ON/OFF switching in response to: Local manual control, commands sent from Leviton DHC controllers or other X-10 compatible controllers and programmers set to the same address as this receiver. The HXS08-1TW will also accept scene commands from Leviton scene controllers and programmers providing the capability to create elegant “one-touch” lighting scenes. The HXS08-1TW utilizes existing 60Hz 120V AC house wiring for “No New Wires” installation. Leviton DHC products use the home’s power wiring to transmit command and control signals, providing networked home control systems without the need for additional wiring to be present.
