The KX-TA82493 is required to pass Caller ID received from the telephone company central office to telephones connected to the system. The system telephones must be a compatible Panasonic proprietary telephone with LCD display or a caller ID compatible single line device. One KX-TA82493 is included with the control unit and additional two cards can be installed. The KX-TA82493 mounts onto the KX-TA82483 (3 X 8 Expansion Card) and the KX-TA82481 (2 X 8 Expansion Card).
