OPERATION:
The UTD (Universal Tabletop Dimmer) allows you to use any combination of 3 technologies simultaneously. Featuring voice, infrared, and touch control, the UTD lets you choose whatever function is most convenient at any given time. You can use your voice if for example a hands free operation is needed, or you can use a TV or Stereo remote if you happen to have one in your hand when you decide a change in lighting is needed or if your close enough to the UTD you can simply touch control your lighting desires. Any combination of all 3 technologies make this unit the most versatile lamp controller ever made!
FEATURES:
- The UTD can operate simultaneously in 3 modes; voice control, touch control or infrared control from a standard TV or stereo remote controller.
- The UTD offers 2 variations of voice control. The first is called speaker independent which requires no training and works with anyone's voice. Simply say Computer / High, Medium, Low, or Off. That's all there is to it! The second is the speaker dependent mode which allows you to program in any word or phrase and in any language to turn the lamp on or off. A few seconds is all it takes to program in your custom commands and it can be changed at any time by simply unplugging the unit for a few moments and reprogramming it. Just think of the possibilities.
- Using the touch control requires a gentle touch on the touch pad for complete control of the dimming spectrum.
- When using the infrared feature simply choose a button on any remote, direct it towards the UTD and away from your remote controlled appliance, and click to your desired lighting control.
