Setting up the Home Automation Remote
Set the codewheel or the Home Automation Remote to the same House Code as the Security System or the Transceiver Module.
Fit four AAA Alkaline batteries in the battery compartment in the back of the remote
Set the slider switch or the Home Automation Remote to 1-8 to use the ON/OFF buttons control the first eight Unit Codes, or 9-16 to control the next eight Unit Codes.
Note: It is not necessary to register the Home Automation remote with the security system.
