Wires in at the branch circuit or at the line leads of the affected module to help solve "Hard-to-find" or intermittent noise issues.
The XPNR uses a tuned Impedance circuit which is normally invisible to
the any X10 PRO receiver. When "Offending Noise" is detected on the
circuit, the Noise Reducer will attenuate signals above and below the
frequency of the 120KHz of the Power Line Carrier signal.

The unique characteristics of this device also help to minimize the effects of transients
and spikes on the Power Line.
Installation Instructions
Mount the XPNR inside a suitable wall box or other approved electrical
enclosure. (See wiring diagram). Connect the two leads of the Reducer
to the branch circuit conductors, either at the line leads for the affected
module, at the power leads for the offending device, or, in extreme situations,
in both locations.
It is recommended that you use the XPTT and The XPTR (Signal Test
Equipment) to "Troubleshoot" your installation. (See your X-10 PRO
Distributor for more information).
Ultimately it is better to Filter the noise at the source of the offence. However,
in certain situations, the XPNR may help solve "Hard-to-Find" or
intermittent noise issues.
