The Xanboo™ AS030 3-Way Camera Switcher is a simple plug-n-play unit that allows for convenient monitoring of multiple areas through CCTV cameras and a base switcher. The system is ideal for residential homes and small businesses.
The AS030 allows you to connect up to three cameras to your television or video cassette recorder enabling you to record or monitor several different areas.

Installing the AS030:
1. The AS030 should be connected to Audio Video sockets on your TV or VCR.
2. You can connect up to 3 cameras to the AS030. Please not that one of the cameras used must be connected to the Camera 1 socket. If you wish to add or remove a camera, please disconnect the power before making any changes.
Using the AS030
1. The Auto/Manual buttons allow you to switch between the cameras.
A. 'MANUAL' switches between cameras.
B. 'AUTO' automatically cycles between the cameras.
C. Pressing both at the same time adjusts the cycle time 2-30 seconds.
2. The 'ALARM MUTE' button allows you to mute the "beeping" when an armed camera detects motion.
3. The 'VOLUME CONTROL' enables you to adjust the "beeping" volume up or down.
4. By using the 'CAM1', 'CAM2', and 'CAM3' button, you can arm or disarm each camera independently. When you press one of the buttons, it will turn green. This means that the camera is armed. By pressing it again, the camera disarms.]
Helpful Hints:
The Xanboo CCTV Cameras are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Please bear in mind the following points when choosing a mounting position.
- The Camera Motion Sensor should not be more than 20 feet from where motion will occur.
- The lower the Motion Sensor the closer it may need to be to the monitored area.
- Ideal height for the Motion Sensor is 6-8 feet.
- Before mounting and installing the cameras we recommend that you temporarily connect the cameras to the AS030 so that you may then choose the best camera viewing position.
- Cameras should not be pointed directly into the sun or any bright light, as this may cause damage to the camera.
- Avoid areas where half the area is in bright sunlight and the other half is dark, such as in the shadow of a building. Large light variations make it difficult for the camera.
- Avoid low light areas.
- Please note that the AS030 will power the Xanboo CCTV cameras. The cameras will not require their own power supply.
- Avoid mounting the camera close to trees or bushes which, when they move, may cause false alarms.
