CasaTunes keypads are specifically designed to work with the CasaTunes line of multi-source multi-zone audio products including the CasaTunes XLi, CasaTunes XLe and the CasaTunes XL Music Server products. The CasaTunes keypads complement using the CasaTunes browser-based user interface, providing an alternate way to control your CasaTunes music system.

  • Mounts in the wall in a single gang low voltage electrical box or low voltage frame.
  • Use any Decora™ style standard or screwless wall plate cover, such as the Leviton™ or Lutron™ screwless faceplates.
  • Available in almond, white, ivory and black.
  • This Basic LCD Keypad gives the user simple, easy to use, control of the volume and music source that you are listening to in the local room.
  • If the source of music that is currently playing is iTunes or Windows Media music, the user can advance to the next song or replay the previous song. The user can also fast forward or rewind the currently playing music using the keypad.
  • If the source of music is Internet Radio or a tuner, the user can seek to the next station or back to the previous station.
  • Bass, Treble, Loudness on/off, and balance can also be controlled at the keypad.

The keypads are used to control the room's music, including:
  • Turning the music in the room on or off (including optional Sleep mode)
  • Turning the music in all rooms on or off (including optional Sleep mode)
  • Changing the volume
  • Switching between the different sources of music
  • Selecting your CasaTunes music, including music from your Windows, iTunes, and iPod collection, as well as tuner and Internet Radio stations
  • Selecting your CasaTunes music by Album, Artist, Genre or Playlist
  • Selecting to Play, Pause or Stop your music playback
  • Enabling Shuffle and Repeat modes
  • Configuring Balance, Bass, Treble and Loudness settings for the room
  • Enabling DND (Do Not Disturb)
  • Selecting the previous or next track
  • Selecting the previous or next radio or internet radio station
  • Selecting the Zone (Room) or Zone Group this keypad controls
The LCD screen displays information, including:
  • Time of Day (when the room is turned off)
  • Settings for the room, such as DND, Master, Lock and whether music is scheduled to be played in this room (Wake Up)
  • Name of the currently selected source
  • Smooth scrolling of information including station name, song title, artist name, and album name (if available)
  • Whether Shuffle and Repeat modes are enabled
  • Track progress (if available)

Installation of the keypads is simple. The keypads fit in a standard single gang electrical box or low voltage frame. A Cat5 cable (supplied and installed by your installer) with standard RJ45 connectors, connects to the back of the keypad on one end, and to one of the six ports located on the back of the CasaTunes USB6 Keypad Hub on the other end. The CasaTunes USB6 Keypad Hub connects to the CasaTunes Music Server PC via a standard USB cable (that is supplied with the hub). Up to six keypads can be attached to each CasaTunes USB6 Keypad Hub. If you need more that six keypads, simply add as many CasaTunes USB6 Keypad Hubs as needed.
