Because your thermostat may not be in the room in which you spend most of your time, an additional temperature sensor may be necessary for added comfort. Temperature sensors allow you to have greater control over your home or business's temperature. The PTS-ES3 provides cost-effective room temperature sensing for Proliphix IP communicating thermostats. The active sensing element of the PTS-ES3 is made of a highly stable, pre-aged material accurate to within +/- 0.5°F (0.28°C). This sensor is designed to be mounted indoors where appearance is important and may be mounted directly to the drywall or on a standard electrical outlet box without adapters.
