Adding an outdoor temperature sensor to your IP communicating thermostat can offer you peace of mind when you're away and want to adjust your thermostat remotely based on the outside temperatures. The PTS-OS3 provides cost-effective outside temperature sensing for Proliphix IP communicating thermostats. The PTS-OS3 is accurate to within +/- 0.5°F (0.28°C). The durable stainless steel probe is housed in a strong, high quality weather shield which protects the sensor from potentially damaging weather. The design allows for two-point mounting and 1.5" wall separation for more accurate performance.
