Because your thermostat may not be in the room in which you spend most of your time, an additional temperature sensor may be necessary for added comfort. Temperature sensors allow you to have greater control over your home or business's temperature. The PTS-S3P provides precision room temperature sensing for Proliphix IP communicating thermostats. The active sensing element of the PTS-S3P is made of a highly stable precision thermistor material accurate to within +/- .36°F (0.2°C). This sensor can be mounted via it's separate base plate either vertically or horizontally, directly to the drywall or on a standard electrical outlet box without adapters. The cover is secured with tamper-proof hex screws.
