This System combines multi-line phone/fax/internet service (standard speed and high speed DSL, cable modem and ISDN) and distribution of video signals throughout the home, including cable TV, digital cable, antenna, satellite TV, VCR, DVD, security camera/CCTV and more.
The Structured Media Center distribution enclosure can be easily upgraded with other voice/data and audio/video modules as your networking, home entertainment and home office technology needs change.
Structured Media Center Enclosure A whole-house media enclosure for distribution and management of entertainment and communications technologies. Snap-in capability and built-in power allows easy upgrades.
Advanced Home Telephone (AHT) Panel Provides multi-line fax/phone/ internet access for up to four (4) phone lines to 6 locations, and video to 6 locations. (Provides security system override dialing capability. Activation is optional.)
3 x 8 Bi-Directional Video Amplifier Amplifies 3 incoming video and coaxial cable signals for distribution to a maximum of eight (8) TV's (supports advanced interactive applications including digital cable, satellite TV, DVD and security cameras) to provide picture perfect reception and distribution of a variety of audio/video signals.
AC Power/Surge Module Supplies power and surge protection to your distribution modules.
Room Outlets 2-Port designer-styled QuickPort wallplates with snap-in CAT 5 and F-connector modules If more room outlets are needed, please contact your builder or contractor for additional information.
Notes: 1. Structured Media Center should be located near 120V AC outlet and grounded with solid 14 AWG wire 2. Additional TV and Telephone connections can be added using other available modules.
Typical Installation: This installation example includes a single line phone system. Three additional phone lines may be added if needed.
