You can set motion alarms/alerts for variable areas of the camera’s view, and it comes complete with IR illuminator LEDs so you can still see images in complete darkness.

Another camera option (that costs less!) would be the wireless 6520 made by Channel Vision. This one comes with 16 channel DVR software bundled in for free! The camera is not a pan/tilt version like the other one, but does support digital zoom through the use of a computer’s mouse. And no hard wiring is required either. This camera fully supports mobile phone viewing.

The third and most affordable option we have for you would allow your camera to be mounted outside in the rain or elements, yet still have a wireless connection back into your house.
