Step
1. Insert
2 "AA" Batteries
Install
Batteries:
1.
Remove cover from back of the
remote
2.
Insert 2 "AA" batteries making sure
they are inserted in the correct direction
Step
2. Set Clock
Set clock
1.
Press the Menu button.
2.
Scroll to "Setup" using the
Navigation buttons
and press OK to
access the submenu.
3.
Scroll to "Set time" using the
Navigation buttons
and press OK.
4.
Use the Navigation buttons
to scroll through hours and minutes and press OK after each
number to confirm. Press OK
when done.
5.
You have now set the
time

3. Set Up a Group (you can
include from one (1) to sixty-four (64) lamps)

Note: In order to activate a lamp
module (max load, 300 watts)
you need to assign the module to a group.
Now simply
plug the lamp cord into the lamp module (or electrical appliance cord into the
appliance module).
Tip: If for any
reason you get a "Failed" message
you may need to reset your outlet adaptor.
The following are steps on how to reset your lamp module/outlet
adaptor:
If an Outlet Adaptor is to
be moved to a new position or is giving a "fail message", it must be reset.
Please refer to the following steps:
1.
Press the Menu
button.
2.
Scroll to "Setup" using the
Navigation buttons and press OK to access the submenu.
3.
Scroll to "Reset Unit" using the Navigation buttons and
press OK
4.
The display will now read "Are You
Sure?", Press OK.
5.
The display will now read "Press
button on unit".
6.
Press the Outlet Adaptor button on
the Outlet Adaptor you want to reset.
7.
The display will confirm "Unit
Reset" when the Outlet Adaptor is reset.
Tip: You must
program your outlet adaptor in the wall plug position you assign. If you program a lamp module and move it
to another outlet you will need to reset the lamp module.
« Warning: Only dim lamps – do not
use the Outlet Adaptor Dimmer for electrical appliances like TV’s, toasters,
coffee makers etc. Only use the
Step 4: You are now ready
to begin using your Sylvania Home Automation system.
Just by performing the
simple steps above you now can (A) Control your lights with one touch of a
button (All On/Off) using the remote control. (B) You also have the ability to turn on
and off your lamps using the speed buttons on your remote. (C) You can also dim
lights and turn on or off groups of lights by using the speed buttons on your
remote control.
(A)
All ON/OFF turns all connected lights on or
off with the touch of one button.
Convenient for entering or exiting a home
or in case you hear noises in the middle of the night.
1.
Press
the All ON button 2.
Press
the All OFF button
to
turn all the connected Outlet Adaptor Dimmers and/or Outlet Adaptors High
Power ON.
to
turn all the connected Outlet Adaptor Dimmers and/or Outlet Adaptors High
Power OFF. Both
commands will be confirmed in the display.

Turning On or Off your lights using the speed buttons
1- 6:
To turn on or off
groups assigned to groups 1 through 6, simply press the speed button assigned to
the group to turn on, or press the speed button again to turn off. (Example: If in step 3
above, you programmed speed button 1 and 2, please use speed button 1 for lamp 1
and speed button 2 for lamp 2,
etc. to control this function).

Dimming groups using the speed buttons:
To dim
groups assigned to groups 1 through 6, press and hold the respective Speed
button until you reach the dim level you desire. Once an Outlet Adaptor Dimmer is at
max or minimum dim level the button should be released and held down again in
order to change dim direction.
Note: You can also dim the lamp by
pressing and holding the Outlet Adaptor button on the Lamp Module.

Wall switches to control your overhead lighting or switch outlets, and extra
remote controls for your convenience.
