Three Ways to Order
Shopping Cart: Use the "Add to Cart" buttons to add items to your cart. Click "Checkout" to go to the order page. Click "Submit" to send your order securely to the Smart Home Systems server. Fax: Print out a copy of the " manual order form " and fax it to us at 631-724-7145 24 hours a day. Phone: Call us at 1-888-843-9103 or 631-361-3600 to place your order verbally. We are available to take your order Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm Standard Eastern Time.
1. Netsuite Shopping Cart System
Our server utilizes the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Data transmitted through the SSL is encrypted so that no one can intercept it. You will be automatically transferred to secure mode when you are in the Shopping Cart and Checkout areas of the site. A lock will appear on the status bar at the bottom of the browser screen when you enter secure mode.

To use the Cart just click the "Add to Cart" button next to the item you want to purchase. The item you selected will be displayed in the cart. To add another item, "click continue shopping", browse to it and click "Add to Cart". Both items will be displayed in the cart. NOTE: To change your order while shopping revise the quantity of the items in the Cart, and "click" recalculate or select "Clear Cart."

Proceed to "Checkout" when done shopping. Complete the "Returning Customer" E-Mail & Password section to reduce data entry on your next visit. NOTE: A password must be 6-16 alphanumeric characters, begin with an alphabetic character, and contain at least one digit. Save your password for your next visit to this site.

Fill out the appropriate fields and click "Submit" to finalize your order. Your order will be sent securely to the SmartHomeUSA.com server. The final page you view will say "Thank You for Your Order" and provides you an order confirmation number. You will also receive an E-Mail confirmation of the order you can call us at 1-888-843-9103 or 631-361-3600 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm Standard Eastern Time to place your order verbally. We will be happy to assist you with product selection.

2. FAX Your Order
To FAX your order use our Fax Order Form and fill in the appropriate fields. You will need to know the part numbers and prices of the items you wish to order. Print the order form and fax it to us at 631-724-7145.

3. Phone Your Order
Call 1-888-843-9103 or 631-361-3600 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm Eastern Standard Time to place your order verbally. We will be happy to assist you with product selection.

Returns / Replacements / Money-Back Guarantee
If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase from SmartHomeUSA.com, your items may be returned within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or a full credit (minus shipping) to your account.
  • As long as the item is un-opened, as-received, resalable condition, no restocking fee will be charged. Items that are returned used, damaged, with missing parts or damaged packaging, or cannot otherwise be re-sold as new, will incur a minimum restocking fee of 15%, based upon the purchase price of the item. Installed, wired, and/or registered items are not accepted for return unless defective. Any items returned as defective but that are tested to be fully functional, are charged a minimum 15% restocking charge (you may elect to have the item shipped back to you).
  • Confirmed defective items that are covered under a warranty will be replaced or refunded at no additional charge. Any costs incurred while shipping a return back to us are the purchasers' responsibility, unless the return is a result of our shipping error. Products no longer part of our current product line will have to be returned to the original manufacturer for warranty replacement.
  • ALL returns MUST have an RMA# issued by a SmartHomeUSA associate. Packages returned to SmartHomeUSA without an RMA number will be refused and returned to sender. Please call 631-361-3600 (have your invoice number ready) or email returns@smarthomeusa.com and provide us with the following information: Your name, invoice number, list of items you wish to return, a brief description of the EXACT problem you are having, and whether you would like a refund or replacement.
  • If you opt for an immediate replacement of a returned item; we will temporarily charge you for the replacement item (less shipping charges) and will refund this charge once the return is received and processed as defective. You can also opt to have the replacement shipped after we receive and process your return.
  • For your protection, we recommend you ship returns to us with a tracking number and insurance from the carrier. SmartHomeUSA is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in shipment.
  • Upon receipt and inspection of your return, a credit card purchase will be refunded to the original purchaser's card. Purchases made with checks, cash, or money orders will be refunded by check. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for processing.
  • All "Clearance" items sales are final and no returns will be processed unless defective.
  • Due to copyright restrictions, books, manuals, and software may not be returned unless the product is defective.
  • SmartHomeUSA.com will honor returns over 30 days, however only store credit will be applied.
