Order Fulfillment Policy
You will not be charged until your order is confirmed and your shipment initiated!
Orders are fulfilled during normal business hours, 9am - 5pm EST. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please call us at 631-361-3600.
Shipping Policies
- All shipments include tracking and insurance, at no cost to you!
- All orders will ship same or next business day!
- All orders going to P.O. boxes must be shipped via USPS.
- Any back orders will ship via Ground Delivery. Partial shipments are available upon request.
- Oversized/Overweight: Any shipment 10 lbs or greater, bulky
and/or oversized may incur an additional shipping charge.
- Special Order Items: Items labeled "Special Order" on our website
are not stocked in our warehouse, and may take up to 7-14 days for delivery.
Orders for these items cannot be cancelled or returned once the order is
placed. Defective Special Orders may be returned for an exchange only.
Otherwise, a minimum 15% restocking charge will apply.
- Signature Required Delivery Option: We now offer a "Signature Required" delivery option in our cart for $2.75. Please check this box to require the carrier obtain a signature before delivering the package to your location. If this box is not checked, all deliveries that reflect "Package left at front door / back door / porch / garage" are considered to be successfully delievered. If you opt out of "signature required", these packages are your sole responsibility once successfully delivered.
- Did you know? 85% of our orders are packed with RECYCLED PAPER MATERIALS to help save the environment. We encourage you to re-recycle these paper shreddings when you receive your item(s).

International Shipments
- Rates will be advised by weight and destination. You will be asked to
confirm your actual shipping rate by e-mail before we charge your order.
- SmartHomeUSA ships via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail unless otherwise requested.
- Delivery of international orders may take up to 7-14 days.
- All international shipments are insured, and a tracking number is
available upon request: Email
- Prices for shipping outside the U.S. do not include any applicable
customs fees or value added tax (VAT) that may be charged by the carrier.
You may be required to pay these fees upon the delivery of your order.
- For your protection, international customers may be required to provide
valid ID with each order (you will be contacted).
