The Linear Access Control Digital Keypad, Indoor is a keyless entry system, ideal for a variety of access control applications within commercial facilities, such as warehouses, airports, office buildings, hospitals, or parking lots. The keypad mounts in a standard single-gang electrical box using security screws (tool included), and features rugged, plastic housing to withstand long-term, daily use.

The keypad comes with four different plastic snap-on mounting bezels, allowing you to match the keypad with the facility. The satin-chrome bezel comes pre-installed on the keypad. It can be easily removed, and replaced with the white, ivory or bronze bezel. Because its die-cast keys have bright yellow, easy-to-read numerals, the keypad is readily operable by any user.
Hundreds of Codes for Hundreds of Users
Designed to support facilities both small and large, the keypad stores up to 480 entry codes from 1 to 6 digits in length. When a correct code is entered, the keypad will activate either one or both of its two relay outputs, programmable by the installer. Relay #1 has a 5 Amp capacity. Relay #2 has a 1 Amp capacity.
The relays can be set for timed or latch-on/latch-off toggle operation, which is individually programmable for each entry code. The on/off toggle state of a relay is maintained even after power interruption. When power is restored to the keypad, each relay will assume the state it was in when power was removed.
Advanced Access Control Functionality
The keypad’s major operating features include door sense input, inhibit input, request-to-exit input, alarm shunt output, timed anti-passback, and keypad lockout.
The request-to-exit input can be wired to a pushbutton to provide codeless activation of the Main Relay, Auxiliary Relay, Output #3, or Output #4 (programmable) for authorized personnel. The timed "anti-passback" feature prevents using the same code twice before the programmed time elapses.
The alarm shunt output activates when access is granted. This output can be wired to shunt alarm contacts on the access door/gate to prevent triggering of an alarm when authorized access occurs. Two solid state outputs, capable of switching 100mA to common, are programmable to signal forced entry, door ajar, lockout, alarm circuit shunting, request-to-enter, and keypad active conditions.
Comprehensive Status Indicator System
Both visual and audio indicators are built into the keypad to provide quick, clear feedback about the status of your system.
Two long-lasting, solid-state LEDs indicate the status of your connected access control device. The left LED lights red to indicate power, then turns green when access is granted. The right LED lights yellow when the keypad is in lockout condition, activated by too many incorrect code entries.
The keypad’s courtesy light can be programmed to stay on indefinitely, to not light at all, or to activate for 1, 2, 3, or 4 minutes after the last key press. An internal sounder beeps when each key is pressed. An internal jumper sets the sounder volume high or low.
Retains Memory During Power Outage
The keypad requires 12-24 Volt AC or DC power, obtained from either your connected access control device or a separate power supply. With EEPROM memory, the keypad is able to retain all entry codes and settings during power outages.
