Dakota Alert Cable Alarm is used to secure firearms, laptops, purses, or other protable objects that are easily accessible in your home.
The object is simply secured with the connector cable, similar to a cable bicycle lock.
When the connector is separated and the loop is broken, the alarm box sounds either the "Alarm" or the "Alert". In "Alarm" mode, the alarm sounds until the key is turned to the OFF position. In "Alert" mode, the alert tone sounds as long as the loop is broken. When the loop is reconnected, the alert stops.
The alarm operates on one 9-volt battery, and comes complete with three 3-1/3 foot cables (10 feet total) with RCA connectors.
