Dakota Alert Home GSM Cellular Auto Dialer Kit is a do-it-yourself security dialer that is ideal for homes, cabins, offices & more!
The Dakota Alert Home GSM Cellular Auto Dialer Kit is a do-it-yourself security dialer that uses GSM cellular service to send a pre-recorded message when an alarm is generated. The kit includes: 1 Control Panel/GSM Dialer, 2 Wireless PIR Sensors, 1 Wireless Keyfob, 1 Power Supply, 1 Backup Battery.
When an alarm is triggered by a wireless or hardwired sensor, the dialer calls out and plays one of two 10-second messages that you record yourself. You can program up to nine different telephone numbers for the dialer to call. The dialer works anywhere you have GSM cell service, making it ideal for remote locations or homes that do not have a landline telephone. There is an entrance and exit delay as well as a local alarm.
The dialer can be triggered by wireless PIR sensors, shock sensors, door contacts, or any other hardwired sensor. This is a good option for homeowners who want a security system but do not want to pay a monthly monitoring fee.
The passive infrared (PIR) detector operates on a 9 volt battery and will detect motion up to 40 feet in front of the sensor. When motion is detected, the PIR sends a radio signal up to 200 feet back to the auto-dialer.
The wireless key fob can be used to arm and disarm the auto dialer from a distance of about 200 feet. The key fob can also be used as a panic alarm.
The back-up battery allows the dialer to operate for 12 to 24 hours without AC power. The only thing you will need to add is an active GSM Sim card* (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.).
